A Dozen Entities to be on-hand to Discuss Career Opportunities

(HAMILTON) – In commemoration of Careers in Utilities Week, Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo today announced the 3rd Annual Utility Job and Career Fair in partnership with the New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA), the statewide association for investor-owned utilities.   The free event is open to all members of the public seeking to connect with the state’s leading companies in the water, energy and telecommunications industries.

DeAngelo, who serves as chairman of the Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities Committee, noted that with the baby boomer generation gearing up for retirement, nearly 55 percent of the electric and natural gas public utility workforce across the country may need to be regenerated in the next ten years.
