Our transit crisis is the result of many years of neglect by our elected leaders in Trenton! You can’t successfully operate the country’s largest state transportation agency without dedicated resources. Thankfully, we now have a Governor who has shown a willingness to address the failures of the past but he needs a legislature that is just as willing to assure the commuters of New Jersey Transit that they will provide more than Band-Aids to stop the bleeding. Legislators should stop throwing our commuters under the bus and give NJ Transit the resources it needs to safely run what was once the best Transit Agency in the Country.
