on the passing of Sgt. William Jerome Rivers

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – From Brigadier General Lisa J. Hou, D.O., Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and The Adjutant General of the New Jersey National Guard:

“My prayers are with the families of Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, those of the other brave heroes killed and injured this week in Jordan, as well as their fellow unit members. Our hearts ache. We honor their sacrifices and we know that this country can never fully repay the debt we owe to them.”
