Statement by Congressman Rob Menendez on the Introduction of the Richard L. Trumka PRO Act

“For generations, unions have provided a pathway to the middle class for working families across America. In response to right-wing, anti-worker efforts such as ‘right to work’ laws, fining companies that violate the rights of workers, and ending employer interference in union organizing, the Richard L. Trumka PRO Act will strengthen organized labor and provide the 21st century tools that unions desperately need to give workers the wages and rights they deserve. I am proud to be an original co-sponsor of this legislation in the 118th Congress and to stand for the rights of workers in the Eighth Congressional District, New Jersey, and our country. I will always stand with our brothers and sisters in organized labor, and I will fight for this legislation until the day it is signed into law.”
