ON THE NOVEMBER 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

“Despite historic headwinds, Democrats fought hard, spoke to the issues most important to New Jersey families, communicated effectively, knocked on tens of thousands of doors, and delivered our message to working families in Middlesex County and throughout our entire state. The results speak for themselves: New Jersey has embraced the policies that will benefit the future of working middle-class families, such as a 50% tax cut for seniors through the StayNJ program. And for their efforts, I strongly endorse Senate President Nick Scutari and Speaker Craig Coughlin for another term.

“Democrats should take time tonight to enjoy our successes, but then we must return to work tomorrow. The next two years will bring critical elections not only for New Jersey but for the country. We will continue to fight on behalf of working families, make our state more affordable, and protect our freedoms.”
