Statement from Sheriff Gilbert “Whip” Wilson

“Last weekend, we witnessed a horrific terror attack unfold in Israel at the hands of Hamas. The abhorrent violence that took place is heinous and my heart breaks for all the innocent civilians that have been caught in the crossfire of this longstanding struggle. I want to make sure every Camden County resident knows that we wholeheartedly condemn these senseless killings, and we will forever stand with our Jewish community, here and abroad. While we have received no known threats, we are taking extra measures to ensure that both the Jewish and Islamic communities remain safe in our county. We encourage all of our residents to remain vigilant and to report anything suspicious to your local police department.”
