Statement by Governor Murphy on Gun Safety Legislation Passed by the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee
“I applaud the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee for taking action to pass common sense gun legislation, a critical step to keeping New Jersey’s children and families safer. As gun violence continues to plague our country, New Jersey will lead the way by setting a higher standard for gun safety. I look forward to the full Senate voting on these bills as soon as possible to combat the public health crisis of gun violence.”
