Statement from NJDSC Chairman John Currie on Cory Booker’s Presidential Campaign

TRENTON, NJ — Following the suspension of Senator Cory Booker’s presidential campaign, New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie released the following statement:

“Cory Booker ran an inspiring and courageous campaign for President. His bold, progressive agenda made all of us in New Jersey extremely proud to be represented by him every day in Washington. Although his campaign for President has ended, Cory’s ideas and his willingness to challenge the status quo will live on throughout this primary and beyond. I wholeheartedly endorse his re-election to the U.S. Senate this November. We are extraordinarily fortunate to have such an outstanding representative fighting for us all.”
