Statement from Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chairs Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) and Tom Reed (NY-23) on Bipartisan Coronavirus Relief Negotiations

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chairs Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) and Tom Reed (NY-23) released the following statement:

“We thank Speaker Pelosi and Leader Schumer for recognizing the critical need for a bipartisan, bicameral emergency COVID-19 relief package.

This is a much-needed step in the right direction and a clear indication that the framework we put forward yesterday is the best path forward to getting immediate relief out to our families, small businesses, and communities. With the Problem Solvers Caucus and our Senate partners working together, as we have for weeks, we are confident we can continue to build on this momentum and get a deal done quickly.”
