PROBLEM SOLVERS CAUCUS CO-CHAIRS STATEMENT:

Statement from Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chairs Tom Reed (NY-23) & Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) on Progress Toward Bipartisan COVID-19 Relief Deal

“Our goal all along has been to get the negotiators back to the table and restart the stimulus conversation.

It’s apparent that the Problem Solvers Caucus’ comprehensive bipartisan framework did just that and has helped change the national conversation.

We commend Speaker Pelosi and Secretary Mnuchin for getting back into the room and taking steps in the right direction toward a deal.

Though a bipartisan deal has not yet been reached, it is vital that both sides continue their talks so we can provide significant relief that American families, businesses, and local communities need to persevere through this crisis.

Walking away from the crisis facing our nation is not an option. Let’s do our job and get this done for the American people.”
