Statement from Speaker-Designate Craig Coughlin on Senator Bob Menendez 

(Woodbridge) – General Assembly Speaker-Designate Craig Coughlin today issued the following statement on the mistrial of Senator Bob Menendez: 

“New Jersey’s working middle-class families could not have a stronger advocate fighting on their behalf in Washington than Bob Menendez.  During this time of turmoil, as the Trump Administration threatens to unravel protections for our state at every turn, we need someone of Senator Menendez’s experience and strength representing us in the United States Senate. I am committed to supporting Senator Menendez and doing everything I can to ensure that he is elected to another term next November.”
