Stephanie Schmid, Candidate for Congress in NJ-04,
Wins Monmouth County Democratic Line in Landslide
Stephanie Schmid definitively won the Monmouth County Democratic Convention today, earning at least 62% of the votes cast by County Committee Members, Municipal Chairs and elected officials, securing their endorsement and the organizational line.
Stephanie is grateful to have won this endorsement. “This is a milestone victory for our campaign, and I am so thankful for the amazing group of volunteers who are working incredibly hard—even during this difficult time—to spread our message of hope and change,” Stephanie said. “Our grassroots organization grows every day, and no matter what challenges are thrown our way over the next weeks and months, our campaign is determined to take back this seat and send Chris Smith into retirement. Together, we will ensure that NJ-04 has a Congresswoman fighting for the health and safety of our families.”
After winning the Monmouth and Ocean Conventions, Stephanie will be on the primary election organizational line in all three counties across NJ-04: Monmouth, Mercer, and Ocean.
