Ocean Township, Monmouth County: As Election Day fast approaches, a shout-out to all candidates for putting themselves out there. It sure isn’t easy.

For Steve Clayton it isn’t just another race but a continuation of his life mission to serve others. Steve credits the Ocean Schools with much of what he has been able to accomplish in life. It is a big reason why he was able to attend a prestigious college and graduate school and have the career success he has had. He wants to ensure the next generation of Spartans are given the same precious opportunities as he was given.
In the Ocean Schools there is a lot of talk about what a student’s Spartan Legacy will be. It is different for each student, but one underlying theme is that we work to make our communities better than how we found them. Turning good into extraordinary. Now is the time for continued excellence in the Ocean Schools, and Steve Clayton would be honored to have your vote.

About Steve: Steve is a proud Ocean graduate who graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park and Carnegie Mellon University. He presently serves as Director of Development for a statewide nonprofit focused on ensuring that children can grow up safe, healthy, and educated. Steve is an avid runner, reader, and history buff.
