STRONGER FAIRER FORWARD ANNOUNCES MULTI-PLATFORM ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN TO INFORM NEW JERSEYANS OF GOVERNOR MURPHY’S PROGRAMS AND AGENDA TO CREATE OPPORTUNITY AND EXPAND AFFORDABILITY IN NEW JERSEY

NEW JERSEY — Stronger Fairer Forward, a 501c4 non-profit advocacy organization, is launching a multi-platform issue advertising campaign highlighting Governor Phil Murphy’s agenda to create opportunity and make New Jersey more affordable. The campaign — including the ads “Flag,” “Dream,” and “Home” — will begin today and run through the end of July and will spend approximately $2 million to reach New Jersey residents through investments in TV, digital platforms, and out-of-home platforms, including billboards.

The ads tell the story of Governor Murphy’s upbringing, growing up paycheck to paycheck before working hard to build a better life for his family and achieve the American Dream. Acknowledging that those opportunities feel out of reach for too many families today, Governor Murphy has enacted and advocated for policies that create opportunity and make life more affordable, such as cutting taxes and providing historic property tax relief.

“Growing up, my family struggled to make ends meet. But if you worked hard, you could do better than your parents. That’s the American Dream, but now that Dream is out of reach for too many,” said Governor Murphy. “That’s why we’re cutting taxes and making New Jersey more affordable. Opportunity plus affordability equals a stronger middle class.”
