Stronger Fairer Forward PAC Makes Maximum Donation to All Five Women Candidates Running for Congress in New Jersey

Tammy Murphy, SFF PAC Chairwoman Emeritus, Highlights the Importance of Supporting Women Running for Elected Office

NEWARK — Today, Stronger Fairer Forward PAC Chairwoman Emeritus Tammy Murphy announced donations of $3,300 each, the maximum yearly contribution limit for a federal non-multicandidate PAC, to the congressional campaigns of the five women candidates running for Congress in New Jersey:

  • Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12)
  • Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11)
  • Congresswoman LaMonica McIver (NJ-10)
  • Nellie Pou (NJ-09)
  • Sue Altman (NJ-07)

“There has never been a more critical time to support women running for office,” said Stronger Fairer Forward PAC Chairwoman Emeritus Tammy Murphy. “Let’s be clear: our reproductive rights are on the ballot. Our health care is on the ballot. Childcare, senior care, affordability, and so many other issues that disproportionately affect women are all on the ballot.”

“I want to send a message to anyone standing against a pro-woman agenda in Washington: we will not back down, and we are not going away,” continued Murphy. “I’m thrilled to see Stronger Fairer Forward PAC make the maximum donation to all five of the outstanding and diverse women running for federal office in New Jersey. I know Bonnie, Mikie, LaMonica, Nellie, and Sue will be a powerhouse contingent in our congressional delegation and stand up every day to Republican extremists seeking to roll back our rights and freedoms.”

Stronger Fairer Forward PAC is a PAC formed in 2022 to support candidates who fight for the principles of democracy, affordability, and middle-class economics. Learn more about Stronger Fairer Forward PAC and its affiliated nonprofit, Stronger Fairer Forward, at strongerfairerforward.com
