STROUD RECEIVES PROMINENT ENDORSEMENT

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP – Today, Neptune Township resident Moira Nelson and Asbury Park resident Dr. Michael Penna, both former Monmouth County Commissioner Candidates, endorsed Committeeman Derel M. Stroud for a full 3-year term to the Neptune Township Committee. In their bid for election in 2021, Mr. Stroud managed their countywide campaign operations. This marks the second endorsement for Stroud who also received an endorsement last month from a local housing advocacy group known as the Asbury Park Affordable Housing Coalition.

“As candidates, we saw Derel’s extensive experience at all levels of government. We saw firsthand that rather than constantly cow-towing to party politics, Derel exercised his own good judgment and did what was best for us as candidates and for our voters,” said Penna and Nelson jointly, “and as members of the LGBTQ community, we knew that Derel was committed to uplifting all voices, not just the loudest or biggest voices. We hope Neptune residents will join us in supporting Councilman Stroud in the June primary.”

Please vote Derel Stroud, Line 3, on or before the June 4th primary election. Stroud was endorsed earlier last month by the Asbury Park Affordable Housing Coalition.
