SURRENCY STATEMENT ON COVID REFORMS

(BRIDGETON, NJ) – Cumberland County Freeholder Jack Surrency today released the following statement regarding COVID reforms and the irresponsible remarks of Cumberland County Democratic Chairman Steven Erickson:

“When lives are on-the-line, you do whatever it takes to help.

“Providing PPE, implementing test, treat, and track standards, hazard pay for officers, and complying with the state Attorney General’s guidelines needs to happen – and it needs to happen now.

“Erickson’s attacks don’t save lives, and they certainly don’t advance any of these important matters of public policy. We need solutions and we needed them yesterday. Further delays by the board only put us further away from that goal.”
