The Real Conservative Team for Assembly in LD-24, Joshua Aikens and Jason Sarnoski, today issued the following statement:

“Sussex County Commissioner Bill Hayden’s endorsement of our campaign is an example of true conservatives supporting true conservatives. Even before becoming an elected official, Hayden has been an avid defender of our values and a strong voice for Sussex County taxpayers. He is a universally known leader in the Tea Party and the 2A Community. We could not be happier to have him on our team.”

William J. Hayden is the former President of the Skylands Tea Party and has also represented Sussex County on the New Jersey Republican State Committee.

In 2022, he was elected to serve on the Sussex County Board of Commissioners.

In his endorsement of Aikens & Sarnoski for Assembly, Commissioner Hayden said, “Josh and Jason are the only candidates in this race who can truly call themselves conservatives. As a father, I am grateful to Josh Aikens for leading the successful battle against Governor Murphy’s “woke” curriculum indoctrination. As an elected official, I am inspired by Jason Sarnoski’s success cutting spending and eliminating debt in Warren County. This team is exactly what Sussex County and the 24th Legislative District need to remain the bastion of conservatism in the State of New Jersey.”
