Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill needs to get her priorities straight. Instead of working for citizens of the 11th District, she is too busy engaging in a popularity contest.

Earlier today the Congresswoman announced her support for local candidates across New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District including Democrat Freeholder candidate Robert Slockbower and Stanhope Councilman Anthony Riccardi. Just weeks ago, Sherill stood with Nancy Pelosi who wrote the horrifyingly inequitable formula for COVID aid which directly cut out parts of the 11th District.

Will the Sussex County Democrats and their candidates lean on Congresswoman Sherrill to deliver results to the county?  They too, appear to be silent and absent from the values of their community and those they represent.

We call on the Sussex County Democrats to stand up to Mikie Sherrill and Nancy Pelosi by demanding a change in the formula for the COVID aid, where Sussex County received NOTHING.
