Newton- The Sussex County Young Republicans condemn the attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump. As the future leaders of not only our party, but the country, we strive to build an organization that carries itself with dignity and civility. Political violence is wholly inappropriate and un-American. We are praying for President Trump’s health, as well as strength and wisdom for law enforcement as they carry out their investigation.
