Sweeney Tours Educational Services Facility in Monmouth County

Tinton Falls – Senate President Steve Sweeney toured the Monmouth Ocean Educational Services Commission in Tinton Falls today, getting a firsthand view of the commission that provides educational services for school districts in New Jersey, including those that serve students with special needs.

“By promoting the importance of educational opportunities for students with special needs, Monmouth Ocean Educational Services Commission encourages all school districts to embrace those children in need of the most help,” said Senator Sweeney (D-Gloucester/Salem/Cumberland). “This one is dear to my heart, and by speaking with the people who work here, we learned a lot about what more we can do to fund special needs programs.”

Founded in 1979, the Monmouth Ocean Educational Services Commission is a public, non-profit agency which provides educational programs for school districts, students with special needs, parents and staff members of our member districts, and other Educational Services Commissions.
