Tammy Murphy Announces Participation in Televised Primary Debate

RED BANK, NJ – Today, Tammy Murphy’s campaign announced her plan to participate in her second televised debate in the lead up to the June 4th Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

The campaign has accepted an invitation for a one-hour debate hosted by NBC 4 New York, NBC 10 Philadelphia, Telemundo 62, and Telemundo 47 in May. The debate will air on all four stations, covering the entire state of New Jersey and both the New York and Philadelphia media markets. The inclusion of Telemundo’s stations will allow the debate to reach diverse audiences throughout the state.

“Tammy Murphy looks forward to highlighting her clear vision for New Jersey, which includes prioritizing affordability, reproductive rights, gun safety, climate change, and defending our democracy,” said Campaign Spokeswoman Alex Altman. “Tammy is the only candidate in this race who is bold enough to stand up to extremist Republicans and be an effective leader in the Senate. While Congressman Andy Kim continues to skip critical votes in Washington, Tammy Murphy will always show up and stand up for New Jersey’s families.”
