Murphy’s More than $3.2 Million is the Most Raised By Any New Jersey Candidate for U.S. Senate in Their Opening Quarter

Contributions Represent Donors from All 21 New Jersey Counties

RED BANK, NJ – Today, Tammy Murphy announced that she has raised $3.2 million – a record-breaking amount – in the first six weeks of her campaign to become the first woman to represent New Jersey in the U.S. Senate.

Despite having just a half quarter to perform, Murphy’s historic fundraising numbers mark the most ever raised by any New Jersey candidate for U.S. Senate in their opening quarter. The contributions represent support from all twenty-one New Jersey counties. Murphy will report over $2.7 million cash on hand.

“It is clear, now more than ever, that the hardworking families making up our strong and diverse state are ready and excited for a new voice in Washington,” said Tammy Murphy. “I have been humbled and energized by the groundswell of support and momentum that our campaign has received since launching on November 15th. Our extraordinary fundraising efforts highlight our broad coalition of support from every corner of the state, and I could not be more proud.”

Murphy continued, “Having listened to mothers and families at their kitchen tables, worshiped with our faith communities, visited our children’s schools, and worked with organizations to bring resources to our communities, I am so excited about the coming months as I travel around the state meeting more people and hearing their hopes and dreams. Our communities up and down the state deserve a Senator who is unafraid to tackle the big issues affecting our families — protecting abortion rights, ending the gun violence epidemic, prioritizing affordability, addressing climate change, and defending our democracy – and I am ready to do just that.”
