West Point Graduate, Former U.S. Army Captain, Attorney, and Business Owner Urges Open Discussion on Critical Issues Affecting South Jersey Residents

(Laurel Springs, Camden County, New Jersey) – Teddy Liddell, candidate for U.S. Congress in New Jersey’s 1st Congressional District, has formally called for a public debate with his five-term incumbent opponent, Donald Norcross, ahead of the upcoming election. Liddell emphasized the importance of transparency and public discourse as the nation faces numerous pressing challenges, many of which directly affect South Jersey.

“This election is crucial and consequential for families in our communities. Our nation faces multiple crises right now: stagnant high inflation, soaring food and gas prices, unchecked turmoil at the Southern border, and conflicts worldwide,” said Liddell. “It is vital and imperative that candidates running for office stand and defend their positions on these very important and critical issues. I am willing and eager to debate with my opponent. The people of the 1st Congressional District deserve to hear from those who truly wish to represent them,” Liddell emphasized.

Liddell’s campaign focuses on leadership, transparency, and accountability. A West Point graduate, former U.S. Army Captain, practicing attorney, and businessman, Liddell firmly believes that open discussions between candidates are essential for voters to make informed decisions about their future and their children’s, and grandchildren’s future.

Democrat Incumbent Donald Norcross has represented this district since 2014 and is seeking re-election for the 6th time.

“The choice in this election is clear,” Liddell continued. “It’s between a ten-year, five-term incumbent, or an outsider, first-time candidate for Congress. It’s between a career politician, or a true public servant who will put the people of South Jersey first.”
