The South Jersey Political Black Caucus proudly endorses Kamala Harris for the office of President of the United States

The South Jersey Political Black Caucus proudly endorses Kamala Harris for the office of President of the United States. Democrats across the country have already united behind her candidacy, making her the presumptive Democratic nominee. It is now time to start working to ensure her election to the Presidency this November.
“First, we need to thank President Biden for his leadership. From reducing the cost of insulin for seniors, to student loan forgiveness, his policies have improved the lives of so many of our community members”, said SJPBC Vice President Donna Pearson. “I am confident that as President, Kamala Harris will continue President Biden’s people focused quality of life policies.”
Vice President Harris has already shown the ability to lead with empathy and strength. Those qualities will be pivotal in bringing together our sharply divided country. She is committed to protecting women’s access to lifesaving reproductive health care, making prescription drugs affordable, and reducing taxes for the middle class. Her vision for America includes a better future for all citizens, not just a very fortunate few.
The excitement for Kamala Harris for President is palpable. “I’m hearing from young people who are suddenly interested in the race,” said SJPBC President and DNC delegate Frank Minor. “They see the stark contrast between Kamala Harris’s forward looking vision for the country and Donald Trump’s plan to take the country backward. As the ones with the most to lose in this election, our youth are ready and eager to make sure that Kamala Harris wins it.”
The South Jersey Political Black Caucus pledges our support for Kamala Harris for President. Her dedication to justice and history of fighting for our most vulnerable citizens, fully aligns with the values we seek most in candidates. We understand what is at stake in this election, and will do our part to preserve our democracy, protect our freedoms and move our country forward.
