This is No Ordinary Gala! Great Swamp Watershed Association Offers A Green Gathering of Environmental Experts

 

 

MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) is pleased to announce their restyled Gala and Silent Auction with the theme, A Green Gathering. This premier event will feature 40 esteemed environmental experts who will mingle with guests throughout the evening and lead informal table discussions based on their area of expertise during dinner. The Gala occurs on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM, at the prestigious Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, New Jersey. For tickets and information visit GreatSwamp.org.

 

Table discussion topics will include native gardening, environmental art and education, sustainable farming and landscaping, ESG investing, local history and government policies, and much more. A full list of speakers can be found on the organization’s website.

 

“We are thrilled to bring together such a distinguished group of leading environmental experts and our passionate supporters,” said Sally Rubin, GSWA Executive Director. “It’s a great way for our guests to connect with like-minded individuals while learning more about the critical work we do at GSWA such as water quality monitoring and environmental education.”

 

Guests can expect an evening of fine dining, lively conversations, and spirited bidding during the organization’s highly anticipated silent auction featuring over 150 exciting items.

VIP ticket holders will attend a private reception of cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and exclusive access to the event’s discussion leaders beginning at 5:30 PM, preceding the main event. GSWA also offers a Young Professionals ticket at half the price of regular admission. GSWA is committed to cultivating the next generation of environmental stewards.
