THURSDAY: BRICK Education Network to Host Virtual Fundraiser and Forum to Support COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Efforts for Newark’s South Ward Families

Newark-based charter management organization’s live virtual forum will feature remarks from elected officials and community leaders

NEWARK, NJ – On Thursday, June 10, Newark-based charter management organization (CMO) BRICK Education Network will host a virtual fundraiser and forum, BRICK by BRICK: Rebuilding After COVID-19. The live virtual event will feature uplifting messages from key elected officials and community leaders. During the event, BRICK will discuss the organization’s COVID-19 relief and recovery efforts to help Newark’s South Ward families through this difficult time. New Jersey’s only Black-led CMO will also discuss efforts to enhance community health access, workforce development and student academic and social-emotional learning in the South Ward. The money raised throughout the event will go toward BRICK’s continued COVID-19 recovery efforts for students and families.
