TIDE TURNING AS VOTERS EMBRACE NEW DIRECTION FOR NEW JERSEY

CHERRY HILL – NJ CD-1 GOP candidate Josh Duvall released the following statement:

“Last night was truly a referendum on the status quo of New Jersey politics. In multiple battleground races, Republicans – not Democrats, came out victorious.”

“How could that happen when Democrats outnumber Republicans by such a wide margin? On top of that, we’re told President Trump is wildly unpopular and that negative sentiment was sure to trickle down to local races, being a drag on Republican support.”

“As with most political predictions, those concerning the election last night also turned out to be wrong.”

“Now that the political page has turned to the 2020 race, momentum for change is clearly growing in New Jersey. For the last six months in a deeply blue district, I’ve been talking to Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters. They all have one major thing in common – they feel the status quo of New Jersey politics is corrupt, self-serving, and untenable.”

“Voters are ready for a change. Last night’s results are proof-positive…the tide is turning.”
