Tim Alexander announces Key Endorsement

Tim Alexander, Democratic Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, announced today key support from the New Jersey Congressional Delegation, with the endorsement of Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman, of New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District.

I proudly endorse Tim Alexander for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. In times like these, we need representatives in Congress who will stand by their values. Tim has spent most of his adult life as a public servant for South Jersey, and as a civil rights attorney, I know he will fight tooth and nail to defend our rights in Congress. I look forward to working alongside Tim after he win this November.

Having the Congresswoman’s support means so much to me. Congresswoman Watson-Coleman’s leadership on civil rights and common-sense gun legislation issues are near and dear to my heart and have always been an inspiration. She is a trailblazer, starting the first office of Civil Rights, Contract Compliance, and Affirmative Action in the New Jersey Department of Transportation and being the first Black woman to serve as New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chair and the first Black woman to represent New Jersey in Congress. I hope to follow in her footsteps as the first Black man and person of color to represent the 2nd District, and I can’t wait to celebrate that historic victory with her in November.
