Tim Alexander endorsed by The Council of New Jersey State College Locals in CD-02 Race

Tim Alexander’s campaign for Congress announced the endorsement in the CD-02 race from The Council of New Jersey State College Locals today. The Council of New Jersey State College Locals, AFT, AFL-CIO is comprised of 11 Locals and represents over 10,000 faculty, adjunct faculty, librarians and professional staff at the following institutions of higher education: The College of New Jersey, Kean University, Montclair State University, New Jersey City University and the A. Harry Moore School, Ramapo College of New Jersey, Stockton University, Rowan University, Thomas Edison State University and William Paterson University. This endorsement comes on the heels of a number of recent labor endorsements for the Alexander Campaign, including the NJEA, CWA, and AFSCME.  As the election draws near, Tim Alexander continues to pick up momentum.

I am so honored to have this endorsement. Educators are such a vital part of our society, and one of my missions in DC will be to make sure they have the support and respect that they deserve. The CNJSCL has fought to make sure that faculty and support staff at our colleges and universities are compensated as treated fairly so they can continue to facilitate the high quality education our state is known for. I cannot wait to continue to work with them after we win this November.
