Jeff Van Drew Continues to Side with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Her Antisemitic, Racist Conspiracy Theories

Oceanville, NJ — Today, in the latest example of extreme, right-wing behavior from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, she tweeted, “Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear a gold star.” In January, Rep. Jeff Van Drew had the opportunity to stand up and strip Greene of her committee assignments; he chose not to.

“I am appalled and outraged by Representative Taylor Greene’s remarks, but I’m equally disgusted by Jeff Van Drew’s continued support of her,” said Democratic NJ-02 Candidate Tim Alexander. “As she spreads vile, racist, antisemitic drivel, Van Drew has never once spoken out. In fact, when Congress voted in a bipartisan manner to strip Taylor Greene of her committee assignments, Van Drew sided with misinformation and hate by voting no.

“We can show that South Jersey stands with truth and love, but we first must vote Jeff Van Drew out.”
