Tom Malinowski Has Been On Taxpayer Dole For Years

Recent Attack Against Leonard Lance Drips With Hypocrisy

WESTFIELD, N.J. — In a recent mailer, Tom Malinowski’s allies at House Majority PAC attacked Leonard Lance for receiving a “taxpayer-funded salary” as a member of Congress.  But Tom Malinowski received a taxpayer-funded salary…for years.

From 1994 to 2001 and then again from 2013 to 2016, Malinowski was on the public dole, receiving hundreds of thousands in taxpayer-funded salaries.  In 2016, Malinowski taxpayer-funded salary was $148,880.

And while millions of Americans were forced into Obamacare, Malinowski kept his gold-plated Cadillac private health insurance plan — paid for by taxpayers.

“Taxpayer-funded salaries, gold-plated Cadillac private health care…Tom Malinowski has lived on the government’s dole for most of his professional life.  All the while affording a million dollar home in Washington, D.C.,” said Lance for Congress campaign manager Jim Hilk.  “Malinowski’s hypocritical attacks against Leonard Lance show he’s just an out-of-touch Washington insider New Jersey taxpayers can’t trust.”
