Tom Malinowski’s Radically Liberal Economic Policies Will Hurt Our Thriving Economy

Today the U.S. Department of Labor announced that the unemployment rate fell from 3.9 percent to 3.7 percent, lowest since December 1969.  But progressive Democrat Tom Malinowski’s radical economic agenda threatens a booming U.S economy that CNBC today called, the “strongest since 1999.’

“Our economy is thriving.  The unemployment rate is 3.7% — the lowest it’s been since 1969 — and the economy has added more than 3.8 million jobs since Leonard Lance was reelected two years ago.  Consumer confidence is sky-high, construction hiring is booming and the stock markets are surging.  Now, more than ever,  we cannot afford Tom Malinowski’s radically liberal economic agenda,” Hilk said.

Malinowski’s radically liberal economic agenda includes:

• Government-run, single-payer “German-style” health care.  Malinowski’s $32 trillion health care plan will kill employer-sponsored health care enjoyed by the vast majority of NJ-7 voters;
• Full repeal of the 2017 tax law.  Tom Malinowski wants to repeal the entire 2017 tax law and has no real plan to replace it.   Massive tax hikes on businesses and individuals will be necessary to pay for his $32 trillion government-run, single-payer “German-style” health care plan;
• Reinstate the medical device tax.  Tom Malinowski supports the medical device tax that will increase costs, kill New Jersey jobs and ultimately make health care more expensive for patients;
• Nancy Pelosi for Speaker.  Tom Malinowski supports Nancy Pelosi for Speaker…. Need we say more?
