Traphagen, Miska, and Frohlich for Clinton Town Council
Councilman Ross Traphagen filed today to run for re-election to Clinton Town Council. Joining him this year are candidates Will Miska and Jenn Frohlich.
“Over the last three years I have worked to find creative solutions to solve problems here in Clinton – whether that be founding a public-private partnership with the Red Mill to launch a historic district wide Façade Improvement Grant Program, or partnering with America’s Grow-a-Row to donate our annual leaf collection which will save taxpayers nearly $20,000 a year. I have also worked hard to be an advocate for our downtown, helping new businesses open their doors and our current business community thrive. I would be honored to earn the support of my neighbors to serve for another three years,” said Councilman Ross Traphagen.
Traphagen also emphasized his excitement to have Miska and Frohlich join his team on the ballot this year. “Will and Jenn are the kind of leaders who will not only dedicate themselves to this community, but who will be the kind of independent problem solvers we so desperately need in local government. They each bring a unique background and skill set to the table that will serve Clinton well.”
Miska, Director of Training and Recruiting for a local solar energy company that has serviced Hunterdon County households for over a decade, is looking forward to getting to work to serve the town his family calls home. “My wife Lauren and I have made Clinton our home for four years now. We knew the minute we decided to raise our family that Clinton was the place to do so. Our historic charm, a great public school, and incredible neighbors make each day living here special.”
Frohlich, often recognized as the crossing guard in downtown Clinton, helping our local children get home safely from school, is energized to speak with residents about the issues facing Clinton. “I have had the privilege of living here in Clinton for eighteen years. Throughout those years, one thing remains consistent – we live in a truly special place. Residents are able to speak with one another with civility about the issues of the day, and that’s because we are truly one Clinton family.”
Traphagen and Miska will be running for the two three-year seats, with Frohlich running for the one-year unexpired seat.
