Treasurer Muoio Extends Condolences to Family of Former State Treasurer Cliff Goldman

TRENTON – State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio extended her heartfelt condolences to the family of Cliff Goldman, who served as Treasurer from 1976 through 1982:

“Treasurer Goldman’s service to the people of New Jersey was immeasurable. Under his thoughtful stewardship, the state navigated multiple financial crises, all while maintaining public pension solvency and reclaiming its highest bond rating in years. Afterwards, he continued to offer his services as one of the state’s leading experts in public finance, providing me invaluable counsel during my transition as Treasurer. The State of New Jersey, the Department of the Treasury, and I personally owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Treasurer Goldman. My deepest condolences go out to his wife Irene, his family and friends.”
