Trenton Woman Who Allegedly Ran Illegal Nightclub on Roebling Ave Arrested by TPD

No COVID-19 Precautions, Dozens of Cocaine Doses Found on Scene

Trenton, N.J. – Police Director Sheilah A. Coley today announced that a Trenton woman was arrested on Dec. 12, 2020 after officers responded to reports of an illegal nightclub operating out of a residential property on Roebling Ave.

Miran Lisbeth Ramirez-Salguero, 50, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

On Dec. 12, 2020, the Violent Crimes Rapid Response Unit (VCRR) conducted surveillance at 767 Roebling Ave after receiving complaints of an unlawful nightclub operating on the property. Detectives observed several cars arrive in the area – many with out of state plates – as multiple pedestrians entered the house.

Law enforcement entered the property just after 10:00 p.m. Detectives observed 45 people in total, none of whom were taking any Covid-19 precautions. Many patrons were consuming alcohol and drug paraphilia was strewn about the floor.

Ramirez-Salguero, a resident of the property and alleged operator of the illegal nightclub, charged $5.00 per beer. She was found in possession of $942 in cash and 82 small bags of cocaine.

“Illegal nightclubs that peddle dangerous drugs or fail to enforce COVID-19 precautions are a surefire way to get a visit from the TPD,” said Director Coley. “We’re still in the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic and will not tolerate any operation that recklessly puts profit over the safety of our residents.”

Trenton has had a total of 5,892 COVID-19 cases and 81 related deaths to date.

These charges and allegations are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. This is an ongoing investigation.

The lead investigator is Lieutenant Darren Zappley.
