TZVI HERMAN JOINS GOTTHEIMER’S CAMPAIGN AS STRATEGIST
Herman to Rally Support for Josh in Lakewood
Applauds Josh’s All-of-the-Above Energy Approach, Commitment to Expand Infrastructure
HACKENSACK, NJ – Today, Josh Gottheimer announced that Tzvi Herman will join his campaign for Governor to advise on strategy and voter turnout. Herman previously managed Assemblyman Avi Schnall’s upset campaign victory against a Republican incumbent in 2023, nearly tripling voter turnout in Lakewood compared to elections for Assembly in 2019.
In a statement, Herman praised Gottheimer’s plan to lower costs, lower taxes, produce more energy, and continue to fight against antisemitism.
“From clawing back millions of federal dollars to help Jersey pay for new roads, bridges, NJ Transit, and the Gateway Tunnel to lowering costs for Jersey families, Josh has consistently delivered for Jersey—so I know he’ll deliver when he says he’ll lower our taxes and utility bills too,” said Herman. “New Jersey is becoming increasingly unaffordable. Taxes are sky-high, housing costs are spiraling, and nearly everything from groceries to insurance is increasingly beyond reach. I’m thrilled to join his campaign, and I know Lakewood voters are ready for a strong candidate who will lower our taxes, expand our roads, improve our infrastructure, and get Jersey back on track.”
“Tzvi is an enormously talented individual and knows how to run a campaign like no other,” said Assemblyman Schnall. “There are few in the state that know how to turn out voters like him.”
“I am incredibly grateful and honored to have Tzvi on our team. He will help our campaign reach thousands of voters in Lakewood and all across Jersey,” said Congressman Gottheimer. “Together, we’ll fight to protect the Jewish community from violence and antisemitism, lower taxes for Jersey families, generate more power and lower utility bills, and help communities like Lakewood build the infrastructure they need. In Congress, I’ve helped solve some of our toughest problems—from negotiating the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, which is helping build new roads across the state, to passing the largest commonsense gun safety bill in 30 years. I’ll keep solving tough problems as Governor.”
Gottheimer’s campaign has been gaining momentum in recent weeks, with over 140 state and local officials, Members of Congress, unions, and community leaders endorsing his campaign for Governor. Learn more about Josh’s campaign at Josh4Jersey.com.
