Union County Mayors Endorse Congressman Payne

Leaders of Cranford, Garwood, Roselle, Roselle Park and Union Township Throw Support Behind Payne in Primary Election

 

NEWARK, NJ – With congressional redistricting moving several Union County communities into the 10th congressional district, Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr., (D-Newark) is announcing endorsements for his campaign from the Mayors of Cranford, Garwood, Roselle, Roselle Park and Union Township. Priding himself on providing excellent constituent service, Congressman Payne and his staff have been meeting with local leaders in Union County since the new congressional maps were approved, working to ensure that residents will continue to receive the support and assistance they need.

Congressman Payne has recently been endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund,  New Jersey Education Association, the New Jersey Working Families Party, 32BJ SEIU, the Communications Workers of America NJ, Laborers’ International North America Eastern Region, the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association and AFSCME NJ. He also recently announced the support of U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker as well as Governor Phil Murphy, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.
