United Airlines to Announce $2 Million Donation to Three Organizations in New York and New Jersey
WHAT: Leadership from United Airlines’ hub in the northeast, Newark Liberty International Airport, will present three checks totaling $2 million to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Urban League of Essex County, and Year Up New York. Each of the donations are part of the greater $8 million donation United Airlines is making across the network to provide greater assistance to its local communities. The monies for New York and New Jersey market will benefit the local non-profit organizations in building professional and personal development job skills.
Representatives from the City of Newark, including Mayor Baraka and City of Elizabeth, including Mayor Bollwage will be on hand to support United’s partnership and provide remarks for media and attendees.
