Press Release: Update on 2020 Morris County Special Nominating Meeting

The Morris County Democratic Committee will not be endorsing a Presidential candidate at the March 15th Special Nominating Meeting. It is in our best interest to hold an open Presidential primary in June due to the increasing possibility of endorsing a candidate who would no longer be in the race a month or two later.

At the Special Nominating Meeting, Delegates will still be voting on which candidates for Senate, Congressional, Assembly, (LD-25) State Senate (LD-25) and County Freeholder will receive the official county Democratic party line in the 2020 Primary election.
