Urban Mayors Across New Jersey Endorses Mayor Dahlia Vertreese for Re-Election
Hillside, NJ – Today, a group of urban Mayors from across New Jersey announced their support of Hillside Mayor Dahlia Vertreese re-election campaign. Mayor Vertreese is seeking her second term as Mayor of Hillside and was first elected in 2017.
“I am humbled by the overwhelming show of support by my colleagues across the state. The last year our communities have faced enormous challenges. As mayors, each one of us has worked in unity with the shared vision of getting us through these challenges and on the path of recovery. I have deep respect and admiration for the work they are doing in their respective communities and am honored that I have earned theirs as well,” Vertreese said.
Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp stated, “Mayor Vertreese has done a great job so far in her first term. She has set the path to get Hillside back on track and I know with her leadership and vision Hillside has a bright future in front of it.”
“COVID-19 has been difficult for every community and municipality. Mayor Vertreese has done an outstanding job of getting her residents through these unprecedented times and took innovative steps to create a Mask-Up campaign,” Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh stated. “Mayor Vertreese has the vision to continue to move Hillside forward and urge all the voters of Hillside to support her in her re-election bid.”
