“Today’s announcement is a blueprint for building a better tomorrow. In addition to the critical mobility and environmental benefits of investment in transit, the construction projects unveiled today will help our economy recover from COVID-19 by supporting thousands of living-wage jobs over the next five years.
“Additionally, old infrastructure causes service disruptions and NJ Transit’s new capital plan will go a long way toward improving system reliability and state of good repair, giving all riders a better, faster commute.”
