UTCA STATEMENT ON NJBPU APPROVAL OF PSE&G MODERNIZING ITS INFRASTRUCTURE

Farmingdale – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Executive Director Dave Rible issued the following statement today on the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approving steps for PSE&G to modernize its infrastructure in the state:

“This is great news that will positively impact countless lives in New Jersey. For the millions of people serviced by PSE&G it means an updating and modernization of the infrastructure they rely on for home heating. For hundreds of New Jerseyans, including those we represent, it also means well-paying jobs that have the added benefit of strengthening our infrastructure and reducing our carbon footprint. It is a win-win across the board.

“Our members stand ready and willing to get to work on this critical infrastructure project.”
