UTCA STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF CONGRESSMAN PASCRELL
Wall – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Executive Director David Rible and Chief Executive Officer Robert Briant issued the following statements today regarding the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell:
UTCA Executive Director David Rible
“If Bill Pascrell could be summed up in one word, that word would be fighter. He fought for New Jersey, he fought for his constituents, and he was among the biggest fighters for the Gateway project and funding to fix the Portal Bridge. He leaves behind an amazing legacy and big shoes to fill. Our condolences to his family, friends and the New Jersey residents he served for decades.”
UTCA Chief Executive Officer Robert Briant
“Bill Pascrell embodied what it meant to work day and night for what you believe in. From the streets of Paterson to halls of Congress, he delivered for the people he served. He also understood the value and need for modern, safe infrastructure and was always a leading, loud voice for federal dollars and putting people to work. This is a huge loss for our state.”
