UTCA STATEMENT ON SENATE PASSAGE OF BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LEGISLATION

Farmingdale – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) CEO Robert Briant, Jr., issued the following statement today regarding passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, legislation which provides historic levels of investment in the country’s infrastructure:

“This package represents exactly what the country needs right now: a long-term, properly funded plan to rebuild America’s infrastructure. This bill is an investment in our country’s future; a way to not only make our roads, bridges and water infrastructure safer and more reliable, but to ensure thousands of good paying jobs are created as well. Infrastructure investment always has been and always will be one of the best ways to spur economic growth and this legislation will prove no less.

“On behalf of the more than 1,000 members of UTCA, I want to thank New Jersey’s delegation for their support and hard work on this measure.
