UTCA STATEMENTS ON GOVERNOR NAMING GUTIERREZ-SCACCETTI CHIEF OF STAFF

Farmingdale – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Executive Director Dave Rible and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Briant issued the following statements today on Governor Murphy naming Dianne Gutierrez-Scaccetti as his Chief of Staff:

UTCA Executive Director Dave Rible

“Governor Murphy has made an outstanding decision in naming Dianne Gutierrez-Scaccetti his Chief of Staff. There are few people better equipped to tackle the issues of our state, in particular, our transportation and infrastructure issues. She’s done a remarkable job at the Department of Transportation and we look forward to working with her as Chief of Staff. Her appointment is tremendous news for our industry and the people of New Jersey.”

UTCA Chief Executive Officer Bobby Briant

“In her role as Department of Transportation Commissioner, I have had the pleasure of working with Dianne for many years. She is the best state DOT Commissioner in the country. In the simplest terms: she gets it. She understands the issues, knows how to navigate them successfully, how to bring people together and, most importantly, how to get things done. She will be an outstanding Chief of Staff and we commend Governor Murphy for selecting her.”
