Vainieri Huttle Slams New York’s Plan for Congestion Pricing

“New York’s plan for congestion pricing is abhorrent. Experts estimate that New York’s plan could amount to an extra $3,000 tax per year for New Jersey drivers. New Jersey’s commuters should not foot the bill for the MTA’s mismanagement, nor should they be subjected to such outrageous toll hikes. I am joining my colleagues Congressmen Gottheimer and Pascrell in calling on New York to rescind their plan and put forth one that does not discriminate against New Jersey drivers. New York must take action to right this wrong immediately.”
