VERRELLI ANNOUNCES SECOND ANNUAL VALENTINE’S DAY DANCE

LONG-AWAITED EVENT, POPULAR WITH SENIOR CITIZENS, TO BE HELD SUNDAY, 09 FEBRUARY 2020

TRENTON, NJ — Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli (Fifteenth Legislative District) announced today that he will host his Second Annual Valentine’s Day Dance on Sunday, 09 February 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the West Trenton Ballroom, located at 40 West Upper Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ 08628.

Given the resounding success of last year’s dance and the positive feedback he received from attendees, Assemblyman Verrelli decided to make the dance an annual event that gives our community of senior citizens the chance to reunite for an afternoon of food, drinks, and great music.

“Sadly, the unfortunate reality for a lot of seniors is that they are not given the chance to get out and connect with each other because there are no events in their community that provide them the opportunity to do so,” said Assemblyman Verrelli. “This event changes that reality. Many of the seniors who attended the dance last year told me that nothing like the 2019 dance had ever been organized in their community.”

Assemblyman Verrelli added, “I want to create a fulfilling, fun, and memorable experience for my constituents. I think bringing the people of my community together in a positive way is one of the most important things I can do as a public servant, and I think we will come away from the dance this year knowing that we will have done just that.”

Some 400 constituents of the Fifteenth Legislative District have RSVPed to the dance, and registration is now closed. Assemblyman Verrelli looks forward to seeing his friends and neighbors at the dance.
