Verrelli Appointed to Vice-Chair of Labor Committee
Assemblyman to Also Serve on Assembly Health
(TRENTON) – Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) recently announced the appointment of Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli as Vice-Chair of the Assembly Labor Committee.
Assemblyman Verrelli represents the 15th Legislative District, which encompasses parts of Mercer and Hunterdon counties. A carpenter by trade, he currently serves as president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local Union 254.
“I look forward to sitting on the Assembly Labor Committee as Vice-Chair and serving alongside Assemblyman Egan,” said Verrelli. “New Jersey’s workforce is one of the most educated and skilled in the nation. Ensuring we continue to prepare and train the next generation of workers is paramount to our economy and communities. We have much to discuss this session.”
On January 14 during the 219th Reorganization of the Assembly, Verrelli was sworn in to his first term. He will also serve as a member of the Assembly Health Committee.
