Verrelli Receives Endorsement from New Jersey Education Association

TRENTON, NJ — Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli (LD-15) is pleased to announce today his endorsement from the New Jersey Education Association’s political action committee (NJEA PAC). Verrelli, a union carpenter himself, doubled down on his commitment to New Jersey’s educators and to continuing his work to maintain New Jersey’s high-quality public education system.

“We are very fortunate to be able to send our children to some of the best public schools in the United States,” said Assemblyman Verrelli. “When our children are taught by teachers who feel supported and empowered, our public schools thrive. As a leader in organized labor, I am keenly aware of the importance of effective union leadership. NJEA stands up for what its members deserve and serves as one of the most important organizations defending public-school teachers of our time. I am extremely grateful to have been endorsed by the NJEA PAC, and I thank the organization’s 125 PAC members for voting to do so.”

Assemblyman Verrelli added, “New Jersey public-school teachers are my brothers and sisters in our wider network of organized labor. I will always fight to do right by them.”
